SK Partitions Pty Ltd is committed to providing quality services to you and this policy outlines our ongoing obligations to you in respect of how we manage your Personal Information.

We have adopted the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) contained in the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act). The NPPs govern the way in which we collect, use, disclose, store, secure and dispose of your Personal Information.

What is Personal Information and why do we collect it?

Personal Information is information or an opinion that identifies an individual. Examples of Personal Information we collect include: names, addresses, email addresses, phone and facsimile numbers.

This Personal Information is obtained in many ways including interviews, correspondence, by telephone and facsimile, by email, via our website www.skpartitions.com.au, from your website, from media and publications, from other publicly available sources, from cookies and from third parties. We don’t guarantee website links or policy of authorised third parties.

We collect your Personal Information for the primary purpose of providing our services to you, providing information to our clients and marketing. We may also use your Personal Information for secondary purposes closely related to the primary purpose, in circumstances where you would reasonably expect such use or disclosure. You may unsubscribe from our mailing/marketing lists at any time by contacting us in writing.

When we collect Personal Information we will, where appropriate and where possible, explain to you why we are collecting the information and how we plan to use it.

Sensitive Information

Sensitive information is defined in the Privacy Act to include information or opinion about such things as an individual’s racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, membership of a political association, religious or philosophical beliefs, membership of a trade union or other professional body, criminal record or health information.

• For a secondary purpose that is directly related to the primary purpose

When your Personal Information is no longer needed for the purpose for which it was obtained, we will take reasonable steps to destroy or permanently de-identify your Personal Information. However, most of the Personal Information is or will be stored in client files which will be kept by us for a minimum of 7 years.

You may access the Personal Information we hold about you and to update and/or correct it, subject to certain exceptions. If you wish to access your Personal Information, please contact us in writing.

SK Partitions will not charge any fee for your access request, but may charge an administrative fee for providing a copy of your Personal Information.

In order to protect your Personal Information, we may require identification from you before releasing the requested information.

Maintaining the Quality of your Personal Information

It is an important to us that your Personal Information is up to date. We will take reasonable steps to make sure that your Personal Information is accurate, complete and up-to-date. If you find that the information we have is not up to date or is inaccurate, please advise us as soon as practicable so we can update our records and ensure we can continue to provide quality services to you.

Damaged Goods Policy

Notice in writing providing details of any claim must be given to SK Partitions:
(i) In the case of a claim for damage to the Goods, within 24 Hours; and
(ii) In the case of a claim for loss of the Goods, within 7 days;
after the date on which the Goods were required to be delivered to, or collected by, the Customer, or another person in accordance with the Customers directions.
c) The Customer may only make one claim per consignment, where Goods are lost or damaged in the course of carriage, or per incident where Goods are lost or damaged while in the custody of the SK Partitions or its Subcontractor, and must provide SK Partitions with documentary evidence of proof of the value of the Goods at the date of collection or receipt by the Customer of the Goods;

Returns Policy

Product returns cannot be enacted without prior agreement with customer service staff.

Products that are a stock line may be returned and fully refunded, within 3 months of purchase, as long as the goods are in their original packaging and condition and there is a proof of purchase.

Goods that are ordered in for customers will incur a 30% restocking fee if returned. However they need to be returned within 3 months of purchase, in their original packaging and condition with a proof of purchase.

Products that are custom made / modified (eg Colour, size or shape) as per customers specifications are non refundable.

Products that are returned out of their packaging or damaged are also non refundable. 

If products purchased are received damaged on arrival, or with a manufacturing fault, or the wrong item sent, please contact us for a refund or exchange. Photos of the product is required for verification of fault.

Please insure the items received via the courier companies are inspected for damage prior to signing. Signing for an item is emitting that the item is received in good order and condition, and therefore the shipping cost on returned products will be borne by the customer.

Products returned for warranty purposes (after the first 30 days) and within the warranty period, postage both ways will be at the buyer’s expense.

We do not accept any item return by COD – unless communicated/advised with our customer service staff prior.

Alternatively, If the problem is not major, we will repair the item within a reasonable time. If it is not repaired in a reasonable time you can choose a replacement. Please keep your proof of purchase – e.g. your Tax Invoice.

This information doesn’t limit the scope of your rights or our obligations under the Australian Consumer Law. More information about the Australian Consumer Law is available on the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission website.

Hire Refund Policy

Notice in writing providing details of any cancellation must be given to SK Partitions no less than 7 Days prior to your event start date.

Standard Cancellation Policy:   A 10% of total will be charged for administration.

CoVID19 Cancellation Policy:   A full refund will be issued if cancellation is due to Covid reasons.

Consumer Guarantees

All goods sold in Australia come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
